Telenovela

A game where you are an auntie trying to watch a telenovela on an old and busted TV. 

This game features flashing lights as a core mechanic, which is the static overlay when the TV is out of tune. If you are sensitive to flashing lights, do not play this game.

You want to select the correct dialogue options for Maria, but to be able to see or select them you need to fix the static and scrolling on the TV screen.

To fix static:

• Left-click on the knob, then move the mouse left/right from it to move the notch on the bottom bar. Align the notch and the green bar to reduce static
• Right click anywhere to stop moving the notch.

To fix video scrolling:

• Use the W/S Keys control the notch on the right panel.
• Move this notch in the opposite direction of the scrolling to fix the cathode ray's alignment.

This is for the MacsJam 2024 Semester 1 game jam, made by Bug Juicers.
